Thank you,  Andre. It may be the same place I have contacted, Seacrest, near San Diego. They said they don't have any right now. I contacted them to see if I can go on the waiting list, but I haven't heard back from them. Yes, if you wouldn't mind, please ask your friend--it might be a different place.
 
No, we have never had an elkhound. We have visited them three years in a row at the Pet Expo in Costa Mesa, and we fell in love with them. We have also done research on various breeds and feel that the elkhound will fit into our family. We didn't know they were so hard to come by! Candace
