Hello, my name is Kaci Lusk. I grew up with birds in my home. I am not
saying I am an expert, but I would do anything necessary to take proper
care of a new member of our family. I know that birds need fresh food
(including fruits and veggies), water and and exercise daily.

I worked for many years as a rescuer of pekingese dogs, and would like
to rescue a bird if possible. I understand the importance of rescue,
and given the opportunity would rather adopt a rescue than purchase
from a breeder. I have searched and searched and cannot find any Texas
rescues close to me.

Do you have anyone in your rescue whom we can love? We have a non-
smoking home and lots of time and love to give.
