I write once again with some sad news. One of our more recent residents to the rescue passed away Sunday night. Robyn, one of our more mature ladies came to the rescue late last year. After several weeks with us Robyn did find a home but as she had some bad toilet habits it just got too much for her owner and Robyn returned to the rescue. We thought that after a few weeks settling back in a cage we would let her free to roam the rescue. All was well, Robyn settled in great even though there was always cleaning up each morning from her! She was such a delicate soul with a very soft meow. In the last week though Robyn declined and we again consulted our vet. Medication was reintroduced and we all kept a very close eye on her. She was due to visit the vets on Monday morning but I am afraid Robyn passed away during the night. I have buried her in the rescue garden beneath her favourite sleeping quarters. R.I.P. Robyn, we shall all miss you. X X X X X Faye
Wishing all the staff and volunteers at Oldham Cats, a very special Merry Kittymas and a Happy New Year. All the best for 2010 Lisa, Paul, Orion, JJ and Gypsy
