Sometime young pugs do a little nervous pee but it doesn't sound like this is
George's problem. Make an appointment with the vet anyway - chances are the vet
will be able to get him to pee or if you leave him with them for a couple of
hours they will be able to get a urine sample.

When one of my girls was about 6 months old one of my clients (I'm a groomer)
picked the pup up and she peed all over him, she was nervous. I was sooooo
embarrassed.

Good luck with George, I'm sure that the vet will get him fixed up.

Subject: [Ottawa PugNic] Pug incontinence

Hi:

We think have a problem with our pug George... George is 9 month old
and he was neutered at 5 and a half month. He is housetrained and
never had a problem before until the last 2 months.

It doesn't happen all the time (maybe 3 times a week), but once in a
while when he walks around the house, he is peeing while walking, we
believe that he doesn't realize that he's doing it. When we go
outside, he pees a lot and marks a lot... He's never pooped in the
house.

We called the vet and they said to bring in a sample to rule out any
infection, but we have not been able to get an urine sample,
whenever George sees a bowl coming close, he stops to pee. Anyway,
any advice or anybody who got through that.... Is it a phase? a
teenager phase? or a pug habit around that age...

Thanks for your response

Nathalie & George
