I learned today that Tiberius has lost his sight, likely due to
diabetic glaucoma. It was apparent over Christmas that he was not
seeing very well. Today, his local vet at Pretoria Animal Hospital
made the diagnosis - that Tiberius is now blind, with no real sight,
perhaps shadows and some movements visible but not more.
We'll be seeing Dr. Tinsley, the eye specialist, at Alta Vista on
Wednesday. Don't know yet if there's a remedy or not.

He's doing ok, really, for this new problem. Amazing how a little dog
can get around in his own well-known world. He balks at stairs now,
though.

We will be ok. Just kind of shocked and sad at the moment.
