Welcome to the Papillon/Phalene health issues e-list. All papillon or phalene owners/breeders are welcome to subscribe to the list to discuss the medical, health and genetic issues affecting papillons and phalenes. No sponsor is needed, we want to educate and assist anyone who desires to be a part of this network. We encourage questions and discussions on any genetic or health-related topic. The list is moderated by Lisa Pertile (aka Lisa Carpenter, DVM) and Jeri Naylor.

Although a veterinarian will be an integral part of this list, she is in no way a substitute for prompt veterinary care or advice by your own veterinarian. No specific
medical diagnosis will be made, and no dosages or treatments can be given on-line regarding an individual case. However, general guidelines, discussion and help will be offered. The wealth of knowledge among fellow owners and breeders is very valuable and non-veterinarians are welcome and expected to help reply to posts on subjects they feel comfortable with.
