Mission/Vision Statement: To bring all NYS sheltering facilities, sanctuaries, Animal and Dog Control Officers, Rescue Groups, Wildlife Rehabilitators,volunteers, veterinarians, animal handlers, care givers, and other such agencies/people together for the benefit of animal welfare; by meeting monthly on a continuing basis to discuss and make efforts to find solutions for common problems that all of us experience. To pool our experience, expertise, ideas, programs, needs, wants, cooperation and love for what we are doing to better the lot of animals that we oversee and to strive towards lowering euthanasia, alleviate suffering, neglect and abuse, find solutions to common animal related problems (domestic pets and/or farm, wildlife and exotic animals), and to prevent the further reproduction of unwanted companion animals in the state of New York.
