Trainer and writer Pat Miller founded Peaceable Paws Dog and Puppy Training in the Monterey/Santa Cruz area of California in 1996, following a 20-year career in animal protection at the Marin Humane Society. The Peaceable Paws e-mail list is intended to be an educational and networking forum for Peaceable Paws students and other companion animal owners and trainers interested in expanding their education about positive training methods, and networking with others who have similar interests. List discussions focus on positive training, upcoming events, and related animal protection issues.
