Hello Jon, there were 2 chicks from that hatch. One of them has one toe that isn't straight. The other has several. Guess I better not get too attached to

Problems with feet and legs are developmental. I have found that though some of these chicks do fine after tape and splints many don't. Some seem to be fine

The pea is one week old and having the tape on the whole foot didn't bother it a bit. It ran, attacked, flew and held it's own. Only problem is the tape came

How old is this crooked toed chick? I have not had good results fixing toes on older chicks. I fixed three chicks this summer as day old chicks, I used pipe

OK, today I'm going to try the blue masking tape and if need be some of the moleskin that sticks ever so good. Thanks everyone. darlene
