Penguins for Christmas - anyone received some thing nice?

Hi!

Love the penguinbros site - a combination of penguins, good humor and
great lay out can never go wrong ;)

I haven't been very active here for a long time, just popped in from
time to time and noticed that the group seems rather quiet... What a
pity! Anyway I'd like to be a lot more active from now on and hope
that some of you follow me. This used to be such a great group, let's
make it just as great again - if not greater!

Has any one got anything new penguin stuff for Christmas? For the
first Christmas (and birthday, for that matter) for years I didn't
receive even just one, little penguin item. Sniff - huuuge
dissapointment! I did receive several Christmas cards and a funny,
homemade penguin gift note from my brother, but that was it. And
mind, at least 1/4 of my wishing list was penguin-related! Went out
to buy some things on my own then :)

I recently started a new job, still in the travel business, but at a
smaller and much nicer office. This weekend all we girls went to have
dinner at one of my colleagues'. She had the nicest, little wooden
penguin from South Africa in her livingroom - he was adoreable!!! The
amazing thing was that she mentioned "getting rid of it" because it
didn't really mean anything to her, but seing my expression she
quickly changed her mind and asked if I'd like to have him? Oh yes,
please! I collect penguins from all over the world but never had one
from Africa, so this was such a welcomed, little gift - woohoo! I'm
now considering which very nice to buy her in return. The penguin may
not have meant that much to her, but to me it means a lot :)

Pinga aka Pernille :)
