I haven't been to Austrailia, but I have friends living down there. They
haven't heard of any inthe Sydney area, but a friend of mine took a trip to
Phillip Island and said that during certain times in there migration the
island is full of them. Also, try South Africa to see penguins. I know,
you are saying, "why would there be penguins in South Africa?" but, there
are. African penguins are just what you'd see.
For more on the Phillip Island penguins go to the Penguin Parade

Subject: [Penguins paradise] Ever been to Australia and seen the penguins?

Hello "mates" ;)
I'm thinking of going to Australia on a nice, long holiday in October
or November. My base will be Sydney as I have friends and family
nearby.
I recently read that you're able to see PENGUINS at Manly Point in
Sydneys northern harbour, but when I ask people from nearby Sydney
they've never heard about them :(
Instead there's supposed to be a big nationalpark south of Sydney
where you can find penguins as well.
I thought I'd ask here to see if any of you have either been to
Australia and seen penguins, or just know some thing about penguins
in Australia...?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Pernille :)
