Want to help the real Little Penguins of Australia?
We at the Little Penguin Wines love our consumers, value your opinions, and
want to hear MORE from you. From time to time, we want to send out surveys
to get feedback on a number of issues from the people who matter the most,
YOU. This is a perfect platform for you to be heard and more importantly
offers you the chance to help the animals for which our wine is named after.
Sign up to be a survey participant, and the first 300 people will receive a
penguin adoption' for a real Little Penguin of Australia.

Proceeds from the adoptions will go directly to the Penguin Foundation in
Victoria, Australia. Working with the Phillip Island Nature Park, the
Penguin Foundation raises and allocates funds to projects ranging from
penguin rescue and rehabilitation in the event of a man-made disaster; to
building new penguin nesting areas; monitoring penguin health and behavior;
and protecting the real Little Penguins' natural environment.
About the Penguin Foundation
The Penguin Foundation was established to protect and preserve one of
Australia's most important natural assets – the Little Penguins of Phillip
Island. Working in partnership with the Phillip Island Nature Park, the
Foundation raises funds for projects which support the Little Penguins.
Every cent raised by the Foundation goes directly to projects supporting the
Little Penguins of Phillip Island. It also has Deductible Gift Recipient
(DGR) status and all contributions are fully tax deductible. For more
information on the Penguin Foundation, go to http://www.penguinfoundation

Spring has sprung for the Little Penguin and what better way to celebrate
the new season than with some Little Penguin Pinot Noir? The Little Penguin
Pinot Noir is the perfect quaff for any Spring gathering including; Spring
Break, Brunch or even relaxing after a long day of Spring Cleaning.
The Little Penguin Pinot Noir is fresh and lively with juicy cherry and
strawberry notes – sure to please. And now the Little Penguin Pinot Noir is
available in large format bottles – 1.5L bottle. Perfect! Now you will even
have enough wine to share a glass with a friend!
Saving money is a big priority today. But saving money does not mean saving
on fun. The Little Penguin suggests hosting a game night with family and
friends. Break out the board games and the Wii - Add a couple bottles of the
Little Penguin – and before you know it – it's an entertaining inexpensive
evening at home.
Here's the step by step:
A) Call some friends
B) Bust out the Scrabble, cards, Wii, Ping Pong, etc.
C) Provide beverages like the Little Penguin Pinot Grigio or Shiraz and a
little nosh (see recipes below)
D) Bask in the glory of being the party planner who brought it all together
without spending a lot of dough!
Ingredients:
1 Bottle the Little Penguin Shiraz
1 Cup Pineapple Juice
1/4 Cup Lime Juice
1 Cup Sprite
Sliced Oranges and Limes
Directions:
Add 2 scoops of ice to a 2-qt. pitcher
Pour in the Little Penguin Shiraz and the two juices. Stir well.
Add Sprite. Quick Stir.
Add 6 orange slices and 2 lime slices.
Pour into a tall tumbler with ice.
Garnish with orange, lime and cherry.
Kick back and enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 cup pitted large rustic green olives
1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes with some oil
4 tablespoons capers, roughly chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 anchovy fillets
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/8 teaspoon lemon zest
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions: Pulse all ingredients in a food processor until a rough puree
consistency.
Makes 1 generous cup.
If you want to keep the cooking to a minimum, you can serve any of these
light bites along with the Olive Tapenade:
Wedges of Manchego cheese with a dollop of quince paste
Endive spears filled with goat cheese and topped with a sprinkle of finely
diced red peppers
Filleted anchovies in oil
Mixed Mediterranean olives with roasted almonds dusted with cinnamon
If you were a wine, what would you be? A popular Pinot Noir perhaps? A
classic Chardonnay? Or are you bold and fresh like one of our new varietals?
Humor your inner penguin and have your party guests take our updated Wine
Personality Test: http://www.thelittlepenguin
com/penguinzone/winepersonalitytest.
For a fun twist, encourage your guests to bring a bottle of the wine variety
that matches their personality to share with the group.
