This is a group for Peruvian Inca Orchid owners, fanciers and those interested in this rare breed of dog. In the USA this sighthound is called a Peruvian Inca Orchid (PIO) and registered with the AKC in the Foundation Stock Service (FSS). In other countries, this same breed is called the Perro Sin Pelo Del Peru and registered with the FCI. The PIO comes in 2 varieties, hairless and coated and both types can be born in the same litter. The AKC standard states that PIOs should be 17"-22". The AKC's breed club for the PIO breed is PIOCA: Peruvian Inca Orchid Club of America.
