Re: PetBuddy

I've found instead of doing the butt plucking, using a blade comb works
better and not quite so stressful. Maybe because they enjoy the
grooming aspect -- kinda like having your back scratched when you have
an itch?

I call it a blade comb but i've heard them called other things
(shedding blade?) -- it's a thin piece of metal, curved into a O shape,
with a handle on the end. The metal can have teeth on both sides (one
set wider than the other side) or just teeth on one side - but not like
teeth in a comb - these are much smaller. You can use it in the
opposite direction of hair-growth and it really gets out quite a bit of
the undercoat stuff. They typically have them in the dog/cat grooming
section of the dreaded pet store (or online). I love the cat-size one
and it wasn't very expensive. We keep ours right beside the nail
trimmers. (An afternoon at the spa, we call it when it comes time to
trim nails)

Unfortunately, i get COVERED in hair and typically will have enough to
clothe a whole other warren with the piles of flying fur.
