My poor little baby was helped across to the bridge this afternoon by our
vet. She had gotten an infection from having the splint on, we could have
had her leg amputated, but I didn't think it was fair after all she had been
through to ask her to try and recover from that. The vet didn't think that
she would have much of a chance of surviving the surgery so we decided that
it would be best to let her go. I can't talk much right now, still too
soon,
