Petdogs-L provides tips and information to people of all levels of experience for dogs of all breeds, including mixes.

When you apply to join Petdogs-L, please give a reason for your interest in the group. We read them -- it's to keep out spammers and "bots." Comments like "HI" or "I like it" won't do.

Lectures -- We have no teachers and no students. We all learn from each other and all are encouraged to contribute.

Rudeness -- not even snippy answers, no matter how "dumb" you think your question is or how politically incorrect it might be. We're not here to preach. We're here to help.

Spam -- This list is fully moderated to insure civility and to provide list readability. Basic netiquette is required and there is zero tolerance for spammers.

Forwards -- of any type. No matter how cute, funny, or sad.

Crusaders -- No pot-banging or moralizing about the evils of vaccines, drugs, commercial breeding, or anything else. This is not a pulpit.
