This site is dedicated to those special caregivers of pets in their final days on this earth. As a veterinarian who provides caregivers with the knowledge and power to allow their companions to pass on peacefully, comfortably and with dignity at home, I thought this would be a great place to share information on hospice care.

Obviously, due to the difficulty of practicing medicine on-line, some specific treatments would better be discussed with your family veterinarian. I will be moderating these discussions and providing input, but will only be able to check this site weekly due to a busy practice.
