Vet

Took Shemmy to the vet yesterday. He is not wanting to eat or poo,
having funny coloring, and not so lively. I stroked his belly in a warm
bath for 20 min. still no poo. Doc says no eat, no poo and that he
couldn't feel much in there anyhow. Funny, he was really lively at the
vet. Doc says maybe he got a cold and that his left lung sounds a little
funny so we are giving him antibiotics every other day. He's too young
according to everyone (10 months or so) to brumate but I think he really
wants to. He can see out the window. I sent for the ceramic type heat
bulb to replace the regular one and we're going to get another heating
pad for herps to stick under the tank. There's already one on the side
of it.

If he wants to just sleep and stay under cover should I let him?

Thanks
Eli & Shem

Finish all the antibiotics and do a follow up check with the vet. While ill, he needs to rest. I would say no to brumation....
