Wow that was a close call & I too know from experience how close you should
watch them. My Belle was free roaming last summer & thought 1 of my sons green
centered marble with a flash of orange was food & licked it right onto her
belly. After an x-ray, a weekend of wildlife fiber treatment & barfing all over
my living room we took her back Monday afternoon. It hadn't moved so the vet
gently squeezed & wiggled her tummy, she got pi*#ed & squeezed out the marble
along with an enormous poo. They sure do explore.
