It has come to my attention that Pomeranians can be afflicted by syringomyelia. After I found out that one of my pomeranians was diagnosed with this, I found out that other poms around the world have been diagnosed with it too. The purpose of this list is to educate others about this genetic disorder, discuss treatment, and to be supportive to each other.

This is Leo who was diagnosed with Syringomyelia in February of 2011. The syringomyelia progressed swiftly. My beloved little buddy crossed the rainbow bridge April 29,2011.
