Welcome! This group is for folks who keep backyard flocks of chickens in the Pioneer Valley region of western Massachusetts - and beyond. Beginners interested in having a small flock of laying hens in a city, suburb, or town are also encouraged to join. This group is not really for the large scale poultry farmer but rather for the backyard (or apartment/condo dwelling) chicken hobbyist.
