Description
THis group is to estabish breeders and others who are able and willing to provide shelter and care for rabbits that are in transition to new owners.
The 'stations' will be places where each bunny will have adaquate shelter and care. Please do not offer to be a 'station' if you can not provide good care and shelter to the bunnies. It is fine if you have limited room and time for a bunny to be at you home. You need only list what times you are available, the time you are willing to keep a bunny, what your capacity is and what breeds you can house. For example, some may only be set up to hold dwarf breeds and can only house extra bunnies at certain times of the year. All of this is fine and just needs to be stated. Each owner will contact you indiviually so that you will be able to speicify what you need from the owner.
This group will hopefully be able to help you match staions in the area that you need transportation but is not liable for any bunny or station.
Posting as a station DOES NOT obligate you to taking bunnies at anytime. You are in complete control of your station and when space is available. Each person needing a relay for a bunny will contact you and you and the bunny owner will make all arrangements. And one suggestion I have is that you (the station) have an area of quarentine. That is not to say that anyone would send out a sick bunny but this will protect both parties. Please keep this in mind!!
The bunny picuted is provided by CARLA VOSS of HOPPITY ACRES RABBITRY. This goregous standard Rex breed is a black otter. Her name is Hoppity Acres Lexus. Sir is GC Willow's Kaiser and dame is (pending GC) Montana Mercedes. Lexus will start her show career later in March. We wish you great luck on the show tables and future breedings with her! Thank you, Carla, for providing the wonderful pic and info. Please visit Hoppity Acres site listed below for more pics and bunny info. We are an Equal Opportunity Bunny Group! =o)
