The Ragdoll cat is often referred to by their humans as being more like a "puppy cat" because they follow you around the house and need your attention.

Ragdolls are easy-going pets with a soft coat of bunny-like fur which doesn't shed or mat as much as other long-haired cats. They get along well with other cats, friendly dogs and children. However, since they are somewhat fragile as kittens, adult supervision is required when very young children play with kittens.
