Hi James,

Wow, this brings back memories. I bought a PEW at a pet store and when I got
her home, she turned into a terror: biting me deeply whenever I put my hand in
the cage. OWW!

One good thing you have on your side is that the other one IS sociable... that
will be a positive role model for the scared one.

One thing that I tried was putting a snack in my hand and letting her take it...
when she was comfortable with that, I'd move the snacks further up my arm until
she was walking up my arm and taking it off my shoulder!

She never got to where she would let me pick her up, but she did stop chomping
me! :-)
