Robyn-

I'm 90% sure that's it!

Here's the trick: In order to avoid injecting it intramuscularly, it
needs to be mixed with a buffer within 10 seconds of injection. It
also may still burn the skin (but a little surface wound is worth it).

I'm going to see if I can't figure out what "the buffer" is. I'm
also going to order some to be doubly sure, but the description sure
makes it sound right! Well, the stuff my vet uses for sure, anyway,
which after a long battle we found was, in essence, the same thing as
Vibravenos.

... Actually, my vet said something about it being injected just under the skin... although didn't mention a buffer. And I agree, the risks of a surface wound...
