Hi,
I found a really good syringe for feeding orphans, from newborns on. It's called
"Monoject 412". It is fairly big- at least a 1/2" in diameter but with a long,
curved tip that is so fine on the end it can EASILY fit into a baby's mouth.
A wildlife rehabber at the SPCA gave me a few when I was struggling to find
something suitable to use to feed the last litter of orphans (actually the
mother abandoned them).
I wouldn't know where to find more of these though. If anybody's interested,
I'll contact the SPCA wildlife person to ask for a source unless someone here
knows where to get them..???
Then I found another very unlikely but excellent "dispenser"--the syringe you
use to shoot air into printer ink cartridges when you refill them. The syringe
comes with the inkjet refill kit. Again, the tip is tiny (but short) & of
course, no ink gets on or in the "thing".
