For the third year running, Animal Ark veterinary centre, in Goodmayes,
Essex, UK is holding a Rat healthcare event. The previous two years were hugely
successful, and this year promises to be even better.
Three guest speakers are now confirmed, as well as the main
talk of the day given by Lyndon Basha, MRCVS, watching a ultrasound scan of
a pregnant rat, a rat castration and much much more. Also don't forget that
this year there is a prize raffle and quite a lot of food and health
supplement companies have donated wonderful prizes (including a very large
bottle of
green mush all the way from USA).
Everything this year is going to be even bigger than the last year.. the
buffet, the talk is expanded to include a lot more info including diabetes,
msra,
bird flu etc, and the items on sale at the end of the day will be vastly
expanded as well, and there will be rat umbrellas, shopping bags, t-shirts
and
sweatshirts, plus we're trying to arrange for a small company who make
knitted rat accessories to come along and show you their range of items.
So if you've attended before - welcome back and if you've never attended..
you don't know what you're missing.. come along and join the fun, learn all
you
need to know about your rats and see behind the scenes at a busy veterinary
practise and view and learn things you never knew you didn't know (huh?).
Although based just outside London, UK, this event is not just limited to
those living in the immediate area. It's open to anybody who can get there
on
the day and we look forward to seeing you there.
The vets, speakers and organisers of this event give their time for free.
Ticket costs go towards the stationery and buffet costs, any monies left
over is donated to the Animal Ark stray fund to help care for injuried, sick
and
homeless pets/wildlife.
