Description
This group was started to help spread the word on animals that are in urgent need of help in the United States and need widespread crossposting. I know of only a handful of people who regularly crosspost urgent animals and they are burnt out from trying to keep up with the demand for their help.
Shelters, please join at will. There are no requirements for you to join. In order to join as a crossposter, it is required that you also join a minimum of 5 other rescue-related groups. Messages you receive from this group must be forwarded to 5 relevant groups or rescues: for example, if it's a senior dog that's being posted about, then the post needs to go out to senior and/or dog-related groups. Feel free to also forward it to individual rescues known to take in senior dogs.

Clean up posts before forwarding (remove excess email addresses/footers). Please keep your subjects short and to the point.
Crossposters, forward each post you receive to 5 other groups/rescues/people who might be able to help.
This group is PRIMARILY for posting about urgent animals with the specific intent that the messages will then be taken by group members and broadcast out to other groups rescues. Transports and requests for donations are allowed. This group is NOT for DNA/DNR/DNT's.
This is a VERY HIGH VOLUME list! Shelters/rescuers, if you choose to go to digest, be advised you will not receive any photos or attachments. Crossposters, please stay on individual email setting so you will get the pics easily be able to forward individual posts. "No Mail" or "Special Notices" settings not permitted.
