Hi, I don't get online every day so my replies are sometimes delayed,
but thank you for taking time to comment on my question about the
power backup for heaters. I had known they had power backups for
computers (not cheep, right, then again in cold climates in winter it
could be what saves the life of pets that must have warmth but don't
have woollens-- I still marvel that frogs can be active on a cold
night, IN cold water!).
The temps vary so much at my place, indoors and out, that it'd be
risky to have any sort of pet that needs consistent warmth. So cool
water pets are prob'ly best for me, but I'll keep your comment in
mind. I wonder why I didn't think of it myself, I was just thinking
in terms of a heater with a built in battery backup.
I'm glad to hear your frogs are doin' fine! Thanks.

I guess since I'm in CA that'd make me a Pacific Chorus Frog. Could
be a bullfrog, though, haven't decided what species of hoppy_froglet
I am yet.

and/or herp supplies, I've not looked lately, but they did strike me
as rather pricey - tho' my current collection is pretty hardy and
comfortable at room temperatures.
