The ROAN (Racehorse Outplacement Assistance Network) list is an moderated list to which anyone subscribed may submit messages regarding available or wanted off track or former racehorses or horses that were not able to make it to the track for whatever reason for the moderator's approval. You must include the location of the horse (state or province is fine) when posting horses available and your general geographic location when posting horse wanted messages. You may also post such requests to the ROAN Bulletin Board

Neither the ROAN list or BB is for discussion or chat as there are many other off track horse or general horse discussion lists available for that purpose and such messages will not be approved or will be deleted. See the ROAN website for links to discussion forums and rescues that focus on off track horses.
