I wish you luck on the breeding but a word of caution if I may, not to
assume or "dream" you are going to "recapture" the Banchory look. As
Streetie well knows my personal interpretation of breeding is that your
puppies will be a combination of all the faults and virtues (including
health defects) of the 2 parents and the 4 grandparents. Its my "grandparent
theory". We are so far away from the Banchory now it will behoove you to
look "forward" and not backward as think it is near to impossible nowadays
to find anything that is PURE BANCHORY and maybe in some ways that is a good
thing <G> You must keep your mind open to new selections as to go backward
in time "maybe" a losing cause unless you are set up to breed generations
and have 91 litters a year as Banchory did <G> during their "heyday".
