well I am not an oldtimer....LOL but I have had
shelties now 16 years... No I am not a breeder but have
had a litter this past January and the outcome was
great :)I do not show but like to go to them and learn
a few things if I can or to look at all the
wonderful dogs that are there. So i won't be offering my
opinion of those to subjects as I am not an expert in
either and I will enjoy the chat rooms just the same :)

I have been on sites where people who have been
in dogs awhile get to offering their opinions,
STRONG OPINIONS, and it almost turns into a free for all
and confuses and scares newcomers to the breed.
People who have companion dogs, and are not involved in
breeding or exhibiting don't really care about all the
stuff "old-timers" talk about, so I thought I'd try to
make seperate times instead of trying to referree, and
have people think this club was not applicable to
them.<br>So if you want to talk about breeding or exhibiting,
and you have been doing so long enough to have formed
opinions you want to express, and can handle unscreened
responses, join us on Mondays at 9pm CST for "old- timers"
chat. If you are a relative newcomer to the breed or
the club, and want a less intense chat, question and
answers, and get to know people session, join us for
"newcomer's" chat on Tuesdays at 9pm CST. Of course, everybody
is welcome at either or both, I'm just tryin' to be

Hi There,from New Zealand where it is freezing at
this point and I am taking a few mins to pick up and
read some mail,I have 3 shelties at the moment and am
looking forward to our specialty show in 3 weeks,have had
to do some brush up on the ring manners as they have
been hoons for the last few months but loved to bits,I
have 1 tri dog and 2 sable bitches.I am going to have
to get another bitch soon or I will be too old to
continue,this is what happens as you turn 50.Nice blue as I
looked at your sight we need a huge injection of blue
blood here in New Zealand as we have very few to do
anything with and quality comes before colour with me,well
must away now as the dogs are getting restless as it
could be teatime ,we have 5 corgis pemmies as well as
chooks ducks 5 cats 30 dairy goats a small shop on the
property where we sell craft and recycled furniture Yes,we
are very busy but there is always time for our
beloved furry friends who are with us all the day
through.Love to all out there in Cybor land from Chris and
