I am a member of some excellent groups, but I decided to start one of my own because of the profound love, passion and dedication I have for tigers. I hope to reach more people who share my same passion and to exchange news and ideas about anything concerning tigers.

I love all animals, but I have a very special place in my heart for tigers. In my eyes, they are the most beautiful animals on earth. I feel a “deep connection” with them - maybe because they are solitary creatures, surviving through adversity; the tigress - alone - protecting, nurturing, and simply loving her cubs, instinctively and unconditionally. I admire the tigers’ beauty and strength, but I am also disturbed by their endangered status in the wild. People need to be made aware of their endangered state, and in someway, however small or large, do their part to help them.

I also have discovered some wonderful sanctuaries that rescue these animals from horrible captive situations and provide them a safe, loving, and caring home. I would like to make others conscious of these safe havens so they can be supported and continue their dedicated work.

The tiger has its place on this earth. We must all do whatever we can to protect them in the wild, and to help the sanctuaries that care for the abused, neglected, and unwanted tigers.

Imagine what a sad world it would be if the majestic and beautiful tiger perishes.
