This started as a specialized list for the owners of parrots who are seed junkies but in its first year has evolved to include all things related to parrot nutrition! Our purpose is to discuss suggestions and options for enticing our parrots to expand their culinary horizons, and increase their nutritional levels by incorporating healthy natural foods of all types into their diets. In addition, on this list we dispel the many myths that circulate regarding the many facets of avian nutrition, and provide factual information in their place.
General bird-related chit-chat is permitted and welcomed, and the environment is friendly. We'll do our best to avoid the usual tedious debates here, and under no circumstances will disrespect toward other list members be permitted. The only other rule is, if you have something to advertise or promote, please clear it with the list owner first :).
