I'm sorry your snake was so ignorantly treated and mishandled before
you acquired him.  I think that's very sad.  I'm glad you are taking
care of him.


It is very difficult to tell the age of the snake. The only way we really know how old it is if we got them as babies. We have to rely on the last owner's info and sometimes, the snake has been passed on so many times, that the original info has become lost. Bullsnakes are the most wonderful snakes and I hate to see them mistreated by their owners or killed when people think they are a rattlesnake. Well, your bullsnake wasn't treated very well either. And bullsnakes in the wild don't live that long but in captivity, they can life 15-20 years or more. I think some of my snakes will outlive me.
