Welcome! This is the "yahoogroup" (email list) for the South Bay Clicker Training Club. We meet in the "south bay" of Los Angeles County, usually in Palos Verdes and Redondo Beach. We meet at different times, though most often on Saturday mornings (this yahoogroup has a calendar that is kept updated).

We are a group of friends with dogs who meet to train our dogs (at an intermediate level) using the easy and fun method called clicker training. Because we're working on strengthening already-trained behaviors in the presence of distractions (like those you'll find in a park setting) this would be considered an intermediate level of training. We also get together for other more social activities (ie, walking the Strand with dogs, meeting for happy hour (with dogs) at the Lazy Dog Cafe, etc).

Membership is "by approval" to weed out the spammers so to join, please provide your full name and phone number, and which city you live in.

If you're a beginner or if it's been years since your dog has had any training, I recommend using Peggy Tillman's book, Clicking With Your Dog.
