The Sugar Glider Society of Sarasota is an organization dedicated to the promotion of the proper development, health, care, rescue and adoptions of Sugar Gliders here in Southwest Florida.


This is an organization for owners of Sugar Gliders to come together, to provide support and help not only for each other, but to the public free of charge.

GROUP/POSTING RULES:

1. No profanity or discussions of illegal activities.

2. Courtesy and respect are a must in all posts. Opinions and well intentioned advice are welcome and encouraged, but no personal bashing will be tolerated. Understand that our members are passionate about gliders and will give their honest opinions based on what they feel is in a glider's best interests. No personal insults will be tolerated.

3. Please do not post anyone's personal information (full name, address,phone,etc.) without their permission. Use links to share information from other sources...do not cut and paste.

4. We are not vets, nor is any advice given here a substitute for evaluation by a licensed veterinarian. Please do not suggest medication dosages. If you suspect your glider is ill, it should be seen by a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible.

5. Posts that violate the integrity of this board will be removed and the member contacted. Penalties will be decided by the administration and will be based on the severity of the infraction and member's past history.

6. Administrators/moderators may edit posts that are in violation of our rules. Any edits or post deletions will be noted by the staff.
