Southwest Working Dog Association is a place where people can get information about working dog training and events in the Southwest. These events are geared towards working dogs and usually sanctioned by GSMDCA or IWPA. Although we are based in Texas, everyone and every breed is welcome. We may hold events in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. We hope to have at least 4 IWPA weight pulls and 2 GSMD hikes a year.

Activites include: Drafting/Carting, Packing, Herding, Therapy, Obedience, Weight Pull, and Water Rescue.
