Help for cats with CRF from the owner of Tanya's Comprehensive Guide to Feline Chronic Kidney Disease Website. http://www.felinecrf.org
It doesn't matter if your cat has recently been diagnosed with CRF, or if you've been dealing with this ugly disease for some time now, we all need support while fighting CRF. Don't try to cope alone, come and join our small, friendly community - it's completely free. If you're new to CRF, we'll hold your hand while you come to terms with the shock of the diagnosis, and we offer ongoing support to everyone, helping you work with your vet to help your cat. If you've lost your cat and have some lingering questions about what happened, you are also welcome here, though you may prefer to join our sister group, tanyas-feline-loss.
This support group and Tanya's Comprehensive Guide to Feline Chronic Renal Failure website are both owned and run by Helen, who's been focusing on CRF in cats since 1999. Helen is English, so if you're in the UK yourself, this is the place to be because she knows how hard it can be to obtain proactive treatment for your cat. However, Helen lived in the USA for several years until recently, so she is very familiar with how to deal with CRF in the USA too.
Topics covered include how bad your cat's case might be, persuading your CRF cat to eat, which symptoms to watch for, and commonly used treatments which you can discuss with your vet to see if they are appropriate for your cat.
You can join by simply clicking on the Join This Group button on this page, then responding to the short e-mail I will send you. If you would like to know more about how the group works, visit Tanya's Feline CRF Website:
