Founded in 2007 by Deb Buckler and an absolutely awesome group of horse enthusiasts and artisans,
TIBBP started it's humble beginnings as "The Blessed Broodmare Project" when we set out to rescue 20 draft cross colts off a feedlot in Canada. The support and donations that came in from all over the world were dramatic and it was then that we decided to add the word "International" to our title. For indeed, our members are worldwide, and it is our endevor to help horses accross the globe.
Through fundraising, donations and art work, TIBBP has been able to help horses in trouble get into forever homes and avoid the horrors of a slaughterhouse. We help horse rescues with feed and supplies and transport, so your donations are greatly appreciated. We are strictly an anti-horse slaughter group, so if you approve of slaughter, this is not the group for you!
