Description
This Texas Equine group is for individuals who like to ride in the National Forest (Sam Houston, Davey Crocket etc.), State Forest, Prarie, Grasslands, Hill Country, Desert, Beaches and Rivers. For folks to meet, find riding buddies or groups and enjoy our parks and trails; to give advice on location, length and time it takes to ride. We are fortunate in Texas to have it all right at our finger tips and all trails are welcome that have good public access. Accepted Topics: Riding locations, Training, Nutrition, Health/legal issues, Shows-Events, things that affect our horses. List in the Calendar Equine Events, Clinics, Shows or Rides (Trail, Benefit, Formal, Ranch) Meet and Greets: Talk with members to see where they are riding in 2010. Add your For Sale/Wanted items in Applications (Blue Navigation Bar on left). You may post ONLY Personal horses for sale ONCE, have folks email privately or discuss along with other animals/topics(rescues-stolen, tack, trailers) in the OFF TOPIC AREA.

my two girls started furring up early so have good thick coats. unless it is going to stay below freezing for a really long time i don't blanket them. just

Well I up my hay in the cold and I do blanket our older arab , she never could take the cold, and thank goodness I have shelters for everyone this year ! I
