i would leave them there - "The metallic-blue mud dauber foregoes building a
nest altogether and simply uses the abandoned nests of the other two species and
preys primarily on black widow spiders" - we have them everywhere too and lots
of black widows so it is good to know they are good to have around. they also
eat other spiders and anything else they can carry to their nests and are not
aggressive to people.
