This group is specifically intended for the discussion of Ivan Balabanov's method of training dogs for Schutzhund Obedience, Tracking, and Protection. Members may also discuss how Ivan's method (or adaptations) can be used to improve performance in other areas.

Members are expected to have a basic knowledge of The Balabanov Method, and at a minimum should have watched Ivan's productions "Obedience Without Conflict #1: Clear Communication" and "Obedience Without Conflict #2: The Game". It is also recommended, particularly for members interested in pursuing Schutzhund competition, to have thoroughly read "Advanced Schutzhund" by Ivan Balabanov and Karen Duet. Lastly, if you have never attended a seminar by Ivan Balabanov... Do! You will learn how to work WITH your dog, rather than AGAINST your dog.
