There have been a lot of instances recently of folks not picking up after their
dogs. If the
Shirlington CCA (Dog Park) is to remain open everyone must take responsibility
in making
sure all dog waste is picked up and disposed of properly in one of the large
black
containers. One of the rules of the CCAs is that handlers must have their
dog(s) in sight at
all times. This is not only for your dog's safety but it is the only way to
make sure you see
to pick up after your dog each time. If you see that someone has not picked up
after their
dog please bring it to their attention. You are responsible for picking after
your dog not
only in the park itself but anywhere in the county. There is a $100 fine for
not complying
with this county ordnance. Thank you for your help.
