Four Mile Run Watershed Cleanup. ACE is partnering with the Arlington
County Park Rangers for this event to clean up Arlington's largest
watershed.
When - Saturday, March
14, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Where - ACE is
organizing volunteers at Arlington Mill, Barcroft Park and Shirlington.

Arlington County Budget Update

As
Arlington County finalizes its FY2010 budget, we wanted to provide
information about the proposed budget which includes closing Gulf
Branch Nature Center and cuts to the County's invasive
removal program.
Here

Some
people have also asked for information on the budget timeline and how
to comment:
- Interested
members of the public may comment on the proposed budget at the
Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25 (carry-over) County Board
Public Budget Hearings, at the Thursday, March 26 tax rate(s) hearing,
or via email at countyboard@....
- The
budget will be finalized at the April 29 County Board meeting.
