Turkish Vans - A fun group for breeders, exhibitors, rescuers, and lovers of Turkish Van cats. Members cooperate on issues related to Turkish Vans such as Turkish Van rescue, cat club activities, pedigrees, health concerns, cattery management and novice breeder mentorship. Members work together to promote and help Turkish Vans through articles and websites, club newsletters and projects, public presentations, show standard updates, and breed displays. Prospective and current pet owners and novice breeders are welcome and highly encouraged to join! Members may post favorite links, documents and photos.

This list's goal is to be fun and informative. It is designed as a safe, pleasant place where people can ask questions, voice concerns and admit problems without fear of personal attacks or vindictive reprisals, on or off the list. Those who do not value cooperation with fellow Turkish Van lovers shouldn't apply. New members will need to agree to a pledge of confidentiality and good behavior when joining.

The list has no formal connection to any cat association. However, member breeders must actively show, and must breed to an internationally accepted Turkish Van standard that would make their cats fully registerable in or transferable to the Cat Fanciers' Association, the world's largest registry. Of course this does not apply to pet owners or rescuers.

For the welfare of all, the list is moderated to ensure members abide by their pledge and the list rules. Spamming is not tolerated.
