Unfortunately, I was just recently laid off from my main source of
income and find myself unable to care for my redfoots for much longer.
Food is not an issue, but veterinary care and proper housing is
expensive. I have a female who is approx. 8 years old who is in good
health and a two year old male who is currently being treated for a
respiratory infection. He has been to the vet twice and is on his
second round of antibiotics. They were just dewormed last month and
with a vet bill of almost $400 I am unable to make my bills. I will
give to an experienced tort person both my babies, their 3' x 5' tort
table, which is complete with a heat lamp and uvb light built into the
lid, and a soaking dish cut into the bottom of the enclosure for free.
I am willing to drive some distance to meet someone who can give them a
good home. Thanks.
