If she is just starting to swell, she may soon have a bright red discharge. What does your vet say? Mine have always swelled first and then in a very few days the red discharge starts. When in heat, they sometimes have raging hormones - just like human women. Some do, some don't.

All the males in the class are altered and the rest are female. There
are only 6 dogs in the class at this point. Started with 10. Is it
normal for first heats to start silent ? Could her crazy behavior be
related to her being in heat ?
