Sir Walter Scott once said" either a mans life is to long or a dogs life is to short", this morning(Monday) I found out how true that quote is. I lost my best friend Monday morning, Spook,age 16. For all of you that knew Spook knew how special he truly was, he was a trainers dream and always full of energy and personality.

I once thought that I helped Spook become what he was, loyal, unconditional love and always willing to give those big wet kisses and a hell of a bird dog. However, I didn't help Spook at all, Spook helped me. I am a better person for Spook being in my life. He was always willing to please, always loving unconditional and never willing to leave the ones you love side. I am a better person for Spook and he touched everyone's life he met. I will not try to focus on what I don't have but try to focus on the gift's he blessed me with. His memory will always be with me.

Never leave the ones you love side in the good and bad

Be happy with the simple things in life

and always...always...appreciate a sunny day

I was so proud of him and he fought till the very end, never wanting to leave my side. I would greatly appreciatea prayers for my big guy.
