We are devotees of Whippet dogs and gather monthly for play dates, outings, and activities for our hounds in and around Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. We welcome those who love these skinny sighthounds or are interested in adopting one. We encourage responsible dog ownership, support Whippet Rescue and introduce owners to all manner of Whippet activities, including lure coursing, racing, agility and showing. We also love the perennial couch hound and can share our experiences on questions concerning health, behavior and temperament of these sweet and speedy dogs. Beginning in 2008, dues to attend our events are $15 per year per household.
